Traveling under the rain sure is disappointing. However, if you asked me if it was considered a failure for me, I would say ‘No’. It may sound like an excuse (yeah, okay, it’s partly true lol) but I think I really gain something back. I always hate the rain. I hate the muddy feeling it gives. Whenever it rains, I’ll always try not to go outside. But imagine yourself flying all the way to a foreign country just to face the rain all day all night. For me, I wouldn’t want the energy I spent to plan this trip goes to waste and only lock yourself in the room just because it rains. I carried my wet sneakers and went as plan even if there were less I could see. Somehow I managed to overcome my hate for the rain eventually.
